Hi,
sorry I did not read this earlier. That is exactly the
problem I have. BUT what I can say is that with X/GPE,
the ipaq powers off as soon as I take it out of the
cradle, whereas it runs fine if I use opie. So I think
a) the battery is fine, but returns crazy readings
b) gpe trusts these readings and powers off
c) opie doesn't use them and runs fine
d) battery calibration seems to have lost its calibration
curve/data ?
So maybe a hack in X/GPE will at least make your ipaq
usable although the battery readings will be wrong.
Hope that helps,
Marc
