I believe that I have found part of my problem. I installed the ipkg's that
are needed for nfs to work. I've 'started' everything that I can think of.
However, when I run netstat I get the following:
Active Internet connections (w/o servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State
netstat: no support for `AF INET6 (tcp)' on this system.
netstat: no support for `AF INET6 (udp)' on this system.
netstat: no support for `AF INET6 (raw)' on this system.
Active UNIX domain sockets (w/o servers)
Proto RefCnt Flags Type State I-Node Path
unix 3 [ ] STREAM CONNECTED 919 /dev/log
unix 3 [ ] STREAM CONNECTED 918
/bin #
For some reason tcp and upd are not starting. I know for a fact that they
came through with the ipkg's. Where do I go to start these guys up?
Thanks,
Keith

Subject: [iPAQ] Problems with NFS on IPAQ
I posted this earlier on the familiar page. Thought someone here would have
some insight.
Hi,
I have installed Familiar 0.6 on my IPAQ. When I try to mount my desktop
Linux box via NFS I get the following message:
mount: RPC: Unable toNFS: mount program didn't pass remote address!
receive; errno = Connection refused
mount: nfsmount failed: Bad file descriptor
mount: Mounting 192.168.0.3:/ on /mnt/netmnt failed: Invalid argument
The part that has me really confused is the first message of 'mount program
didn't pass remote address'. I have some Linux experience, but I am a long
way from being an Admin guru.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Keith
