[iPAQ] help restoring ipaq 3630

Hi. I installed your linux distribution, added some packages via ipkg, and
then tried to restore the original wince software from wince_image.gz. The
xmodem transfer and formatting went ok, the bootloader screen came back up
ok, but the blue progress bar only gets about 2/3 of the way across the
screen, and booting wince makes the LCD controller turn off. I've tried both
soft and hard reset (turning off the switch for several minutes), with no
change.

I'm somewhat skilled with computer hardware (regularly pull out my desktop
model's motherboard), so if there's a nonproprietary procedure for clearing
the flash memory and reinstalling, or whatever it is that you do, I might be
able (and interested) in trying it myself. If not, then of course I'll send
it in.

BTW, an interesting project! I do hope you continue the development.
