Messagedid you try rebooting?
this means using the stylus to press in the hole in the base of the unit, whilst in the cradle.
can be tricky, but you may have a lead which you can use instead of the cradle, and is thus much easier...

Subject: [iPAQ] FW: ipaq 3835 not recharged
I have been pondering this since I sent the previous e-mail. I though I should include the versions of the software that I loaded. I used the bootldr-2.18.01.bin and BootBlaster_1.18.exe. I did save the wince, but I hoped I would never need it anymore.
Any chance that I could use a battery powered sleave to recover? I suppose that my cradle could be bad.
Thanks,
Mel

Help. I loaded Linux onto my Ipaq a couple of months ago. It seemed to load ok. I haven't had time to work with it lately, but I left it in the cradle so that it would remain charged. But it didn't. A few days ago it wouldn't lite up anymore. I thought I loaded the appropriate version but apparently not. I was concerned that the led didn't light, but I got the impression that the led software did not work yet. What now?
