[iPAQ] Application development for iPAQ

 
Hi there,
 
HELP!! I have installed linux on my iPAQ 3870, followed the
instructions on
ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/pub/linux/compaq/ipaq/stable/install.html.
Installed the bootloader with no problems, thereafter installed familiar
following these instructions:
http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/releases/v0.5.2/install/H3600/install.html

 
Am running windows 2000, and did not manage to get the ppp working, but
can use zmodem to transfer files from PC to iPAQ, so not critical. Used
PCMCIA card to download the familiar GUI to my iPAQ.
 
Need a development environment in either linux or windows 2000.
Currently trying to use fltk but having problems cross compiling from a
linux maching for the strongarm.
 
Would really appreciate any help you can give me. Bear in mind I am not
really proficient in linux, statred using embedded linux only, so am
pretty much a beginner in linux.
