I have one of the new H3970 X-Scale Ipaqs on its way, which I'd ultimately
like to run a linux kernel. I'm aware that these machines are very new, and so
there may or may not be various issues to iron out with the kernel before I
have a useable machine.
A kernel not working won't turn the Ipaq into a brick, and perhaps provides an
opportunity to contribute some of the fixes myself, but I'm nervous about
reflashing it with an incompatible bootldr and rendering it completely inert!
Has anyone tried the bootldr on a H3970 yet, and was it a success?
Cheers,
Chris.
