he's using familiar, too, but he has removed the line console=ttySA0
from his bootparams. this params are stored in the file /boot/params.
if you don't know what I'm talking about search the list. It's discussed
when ever someone has a problem with the stowaway or foldable
keyboard or wants to free the serial port.
