[iPAQ] Some help needed

I have managed to restore my ipaq from the back up but now the reminders
in my calendar do not turn the ipaq on, and when I do plug in the ipaq
into the cradle it does not automatically turn on. I have checked to
make sure that everything is plugged in and that the active sync options
are set up properly? Any ideas.
