[iPAQ] Micro Innovations Wireless Link

I bought a Micro Innovations Wireless Link keyboard. It transmit some
kind of infra-red signal, which is receivable by the iPAQ hardware.
Not clear what kind of signal it is, though. Mr. Lirc himself says
that it's not a remote-control signal, but much more likely to be an
irda data packet. But how to determine?? Does anybody know?
