Hello Walter;

Please see http://www.handhelds.org/Compaq/iPAQH3600/iPAQ_H3600.html
<http://www.handhelds.org/Compaq/iPAQH3600/iPAQ_H3600.html> section

1.2.2.2. Extended GPIOs, then look for EGPIO4 or EGPIO5.

I think this is what you want.

Best Regards,

Subject: [iPAQ] Power management

The power to expansion port is still on, when the Ipaq is turned off.
Currently when a have an socket scan card pluged in my Ipaq Pocket PC the
battery will completely drain in just two days, even when the power on the
Ipaq is turn off, which leads to a comlete data lost.

Question:

Is there a setting, which alows me to turn off Power to the expansion port
when I turn the Ipaq off?

Thanks for your support in advanced.

Best Regards

Walter Bosch
