You may have a look at the Linux Assembly Howto at
http://www.caldera.com/LDP/HOWTO/Assembly-HOWTO.html. It is mostly
talking about i386, but generic stuff about gcc inline assembly syntax and
gas should apply to ARM assembly as well. ARM Linux uses the standard
APCS so it shouldn't be too hard for you to get into it.
