[iPAQ] compaq microkbd on H3870 problem

I am having problem with the symbols and numbers on compaq microkeyboard.
I am using running X and familiar 0.5.2 with 2.4.18-rmk3-hh6 kernel.
I opened a terminal on the ipaq and did :
    modprobe h3600_microkbd
    xmodmap /etc/microkbd/compaq.dk
    cat /dev/microkbd/compaq &

I am also using bash shell.

When I hold the blue "Fn" key and hit any key with blue numbers (0-9), I
don't get the number. Similarly, holding the blue "Fn" and hitting any key
doesn't generate the corresponding "blue" symbol either. Only lower case
and upper case works.

Did I miss something ?
