[iPAQ] 3800 stowaway howto: wiki updated but still not working

Please note the keyboard is not yet working. ideas on what is missing
are very welcome.
I've updated the stowaway wiki with (a link to this thread and) the
following:

download and install the appropriate stowaway module ipkg:
# ipkg install stowaway-modules-2.4.18-rmk3
very carefully, add # to /etc/inittab script thus:
# T0:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L /dev/ttySA0 115200 vt100
then, echo |"set linuxargs=noinitrd root=/dev/mtdblock1 init=/linuxrc|" 
 > /boot/params
reboot
insmod h3600_stowaway
cat /dev/stowaway
---
I'd be pleased to get the keyboard working,  can someone please add some 
detail?
