What files do you see in the second partition when you use "ls" on your PC
(not the iPAQ)? Are you able to mount the second partition when running
Linux on your PC?
What hardware are you using with your iPAQ? A Dual PC Card Expansion Pack?
A single CF Expansion Pack? A single PC Card Expansion Pack? Are you using
a hard disk drive or a CF card?
I've read here that early bootloaders don't work well with the 3800-series.
Consider downloading the most current one (2.18.41 or 2.18.42) .
Also, try to use an older, stable (fam.0.5.1.tar.gz) Familiar image just to
get started. I've found, in trying to get my 3765 to dual boot, that some
image tar files put their unpacked files one level down from tar file,
instead of in the same directory.
Once you're stable, then you might upgrade to the most current Familar.
