/usr/bin/matchbox should exist - maybe you've removed the package and
not restarted?

Anyhow, /usr/bin/x-window-manager is a symlink to the window manager you
want to run. It is best controlled by update-alternatives
("update-alternatives --help"). Or you could 'ipkg remove matchbox' and
'ipkg install mywindowmanager'.
