Newbie here.
We're developing an application that will likely be hosted on an iPAQ and
are trying to select a model that won't restrict the development but that
also is cost effective for the fielded application.
Being that the 3600-series seems to be the standard to which Linux was
ported, we're leaning to select it. But we wondered if the less expensive
3100 might be workable, or if the 3700-series offered anything attractive.
Can the 3100-series host a Linux that leaves enough memory for a small
application?
Does the 3700-series' expanded ROM space make development easier? Is its
display's larger color palette significant?
Are there any communication or development issues that should influence our
choice?
Thanks in advance!
