Hmm, a corrupt dictionary would be odd.

I would say so. It would be part of the file system and therefore part of
the ROM. Some things are saved in flash but it shouldn't check those.

No. Have you tried turning auto word completion back on to see what happens?

One thing you could try is to save the image again with osloader and then do
a binary compare against the image that you used to restore Windows CE from.
If they are different then it tells you that something changed between where
you stored it on disk and where it is in flash. If they are the same it
tells you nothing.
