The latest madplay/mpg123 source is at
ftp://handhelds.org/pub/apps/sound/, and includes change notices in the
files that have been modified.
Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom,
Many thanks for your contribution.
I am currently working on a rewrite of the front-end to MAD so it will be
easier to do mpg123 compatibility, including the option to start in the
middle
of a song, etc.
I suppose it would really be nice if all the back-end decoders and front-end
GUI components could agree on a media player protocol so this type of
compatibility hackery is not necessary. This is probably the wrong audience
to
discuss it, though; I'll have to make a note to get involved with some of
the
GUI coders. In the meantime I'll make sure it's possible to do a more
complete
mpg123 emulation.
I only have one request regarding your tarball: Per the requirements of the
GPL, would you please include a notice in the changed file(s) with your name
and the dates of your changes?
Thanks,
