If you want to play with buttons, you'll need to learn it. Another
thing to do is install xaux-clients package. This includes the 'xev'
app. Try running it from a command prompt, preferably a remote or
serial connection, then focus the window that 'xev' pops up, and press
each button: this'll tell you more than you wanted to know about each
key. All six buttons are handed to X as events, except the poewr button,
I believe that's captured at a lower level, earlier.
