There's no need to set the library path manually. Run j2re1.3.1/bin/java
instead of j2re1.3.1/bin/armv4l/native_threads/java.
j2re1.3.1/bin/java will take care of setting the required library path
automatically.

If you don't have j2re1.3.1/bin/java then your installation is broken
(this happens if a file system, e.g. vfat, doesn't understand symlinks).
