Wow, this one works!

Both cards (64MB PNY and 128MB Viking) work as well as both CF-to-PCMICA adapters (Compaq and Viking).. using images from both BootLinuxFromCF and Tangent's images... one of them actually gets to the touch creen calibration, the other needs croaks over init.. probably needs an rdev (rdev? Too tired and happy to think straight, I'm sure you know what I mean ;-)
