I think my ipaq 3630 is bricked.
I tried to upgrade from 2.18.01 to 2.18.22 to see if suspend/resume would
behave better with a mounted microdrive.
Here's the steps I took:
boot> load bootldr
sent bootldr-2.18.22.bin, having checked its md5sum.
Got all the verifying...done messages etc.
Pressed reset.
Got the 2.18.22 splash screen, it booted Linux OK.
bash$ swapon /dev/hda2
Pressed suspend, appeared to work OK.
Pressed resume, nothing.
Pressed reset (well...it worked the first time)
Green LED flashes (JFFS2 partition check?), and power LED behaves
normally.
Nothing else happens, no splashscreen, nothing on the serial port.
I've tried holding down calendar and action buttons, but they have no
effect.
Do I have a brick?
I'm guessing I've got problems because I didn't do a: boot> partition
reset, but I thought that the bootloader partition size was fixed, and not
dependent on the size of the program, or is that the old method?
Thanks
Matthew
