Hi,
I think I may have a brick on my hands, although it seems to have developed
this problem in a manner that varies from the normal route!
I installed bootloader-2.18.24 on it a couple of days ago along with
task-bootstrap-2.4.16-rmk1-hh15.jffs2 onto my newly arrived second 3630 and
proceeded to get on with creating a nice envoronment. Everything was working
fine until I went to wake the iPAQ on returning home and putting it in the
cradle.
No response from the touchscreen, power button etc at all. I did a straight
reset, a 'holding down the action button' reset etc. All these result in the
iPAQ powering up, the 'power' LED blinking quickly (green) for a couple of
seconds, then nothing. There's no CRL bootloader screen and nothing on the
serial port (yes, I checked my serial port settings etc with my other iPAQ to
make sure there was nothing dumb going on with my serial settings).
I was wondering whether this might be a power issue rather than a brick as I
know the bootldr was functioning properly after installation (and after a
couple of hard resets too), any got any thoughts on this?
Regards,
Ben
