Yep, exactly the same here. I do actually have a card from Toshiba (which
shouldn't be low-quality??!...), could not figure out how to work it either.
My card is 32MB from Toshiba. I get exactly the same output for "boot ide",
"boot vfat", "ide identify" and "ide ptable" ...

This is the same error I have been discussing with Jamey. I get it with both
a 65 MB PNY card and a 128 MB Viking card. Have used both a Viking and a
Compaq CF-to_PCMCIA adapter.
Jamie I never heard back from you after I sent you the last logs.... have
you found anything new?
