That battery pack is about 2-3/4" x 2-1/2" x 3/4".

You may be better off, however, with a different option. This "external IPAQ
battery" isn't a battery; it's a battery holder, four 1600-milliamp-hour
nickle metal hydride AA batteries, and a Radio Shack battery charger.
Furthermore, the batter holder has a screw to hold it shut, so you either opt
for the cover to come off the holder too easily (i.e. don't use the screw), or
you have to remove the screw each time you want to remove the batteries to
charge them. I don't find it ideal at all, although it does work. (There's
also a power switch on the battery holder which can easily be accidentally
switched to the "off" position, preventing power from the external batteries
from getting to the iPAQ. I suppose there are applications where that switch
would be useful, but I don't find it appropriate in this application.

An alternate option is going to Radio Shack or your local electronics store,
buying a battery holder, a plug that will fit into the external power socket
on the iPAQ (they're often color coded; one of the yellow ones is probably the
size you need, but compare it carefully to be sure), four batteries, and a
charger. It will likely be much less expensive, and you can probably get a
battery holder that doesn't require that a screw be removed to charge the
batteries.

Cheers,
