that means going for a pcmcia sleeve. I was wondering about that today,
since the CF way is much cheaper if you're interested in memory (which
is my primary concern).

the other alternative I thought about was a direct cable connect and
USB connection, mounting the camera's memory into the filesystem
hierarchy. works great on the PC, so it should work on the ipaq,
provided the USB units play fair. :)
plus, of course, you'd have to solder your own cable. :)

not as lucky. the camera isn't supported by gphoto2, plus serial is
incredibly slow on it (much less than 56k).
