sorry your not getting my drift, the card is going to be used to connect to
the internet.
hence I can't at present get any urls. I'm using the familiar v0.5.1
installation instructions.

Do i have to to use the serial port to connect to the internet at this
stage?
I'd really hoped to use the cards for speed and practicallity, however this
doesn't seem possible yet.

then run ipkg update, then connect using cards, then ipkg task-complete.
does that sound about right?
