Hello, I've currently compiled with no problem fbgetty
a Getty for fb, it works a bliss, except for the
little fact that my 3150 has a 320x240 lcd being used
as 240x320 by the machine :) the problem? it's
landscape, and fbgetty has no recognition in it so
there is no way to write for now except for a
keyboard... try pluging your ipaq in portrain on
akeyboard and reading it on landscape, what a neck
ache!!! the problem here is the getty is recurring to
con2fbmap to have the kernel handle the fonting and fb
handling, so there is no easy way I see of remaping
memory in sync to the kernel to reorientate the screen
to portrait.... does anybody knows or thinks of a
human coddable way of integrating a rotate method
inside the ipaq's fb code itself? It would be very
handy not only for this but for lots other apps that
should not do so such dirty and low level work
themselves :) any ideas? voluntaries to try this feat?
any suggestions at all??

Also i woudl like suggestions about tryign to add
xstroke code to the getty, the getty is obviously a
system executable, so if there is such an option it
shoudl bve much easier to implement gpm for stroke
input than to use the modules to get acces to the
touchscreen directly, is there gpm for the ipaq coded?
would it be easier to use it or the road to travel is
to call upon the modules for touchscreen info
directly?

I wait for advice. :)
