[iPAQ] How to turn on lcd screen?

Hi.

I was looking for a way to switch on the lcd screen
which is switched off by the power management.

I was looking for a way to do this either from a user
program or from a kernel module. I was trying to find
out a way to convey "lcd screen wake-up call" to the
power management thing, but was not successful.

I am using ipaq 3760 with kernel version 2.4.15(pre6).
