[iPAQ] Image Libraries on Familiar

Hi Everyone,

I'm working on a little piece of software for familiar on the iPAQ. It involves
 processing a bunch of images and sending them to the frame buffer. Normally I'
d use Python with PIL and Numeric to do my processing, but I've had some problem
s cross compiling the libraries. Has anyone had any luck with that?

Alternatively, has anyone done much with image processing on familiar? All I re
ally need to do is read an image into a matrix. I'd pretty much be willing to u
se any language/library combination which works. I've found that the libraries
out there are few and buggy. Has anyone else had success here? Any suggestions
?
