[iPAQ] Compiling 2.4.17 kernel modules on the skiffs??

Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to compile kernel modules without having to get
the whole kernel build. I'm running 2.4.17 on my 3850, and want to use
stuff such as nvrd (which is a module), or the ipaq-fbvncserver (which
contains 2 modules).

Both of these are available in ipkg format, but the modules are compiled
against 2.4.16. Can I compile the modules on the skiffs somewhere, so
that I do not have to get the full 2.4.17 kernel and build that??
