Heh.. ok.. first lemme preface this by saying I did _not_ do the dd method
I was inquiring about earlier.
I restored my wince backup images, all md5sum'd ok, wince boots...
qutils says the checksum's are ok...
the problem is, whenever I input a few characters into wince's
text input boxes, the ipaq freezes and must be rebooted. It doesn't do
this however if you switch input fields between characters(!).
on one hand, I can't even begin to reason as to why this would happen. Or
how installing linux would have anything to do with it...
on the other, I can't ignore the fact that it didn't behave this way
prior to installing linux..
It's also froze on bootup (as I was rebooting it because of the lockup).
I tried turning the power switch off/on. (does that do a "full reset?")
any ideas???
