Hi mr. France...
My name is John, I a actually live in Sao Paulo, Brazil and last week I installed the bootloader and did everything through the instructions to install linux. It did ok, and the black screen with the penguin came up, the little square blinking. But I was not able to get out of there. Only through the Hyperterminal. I don't know what happened with my ppp connection. There was the first problem. Then I've got a mail saying to me that I could download things from the 'application' ftp site. I did that and installed many items, as they asked for each other. Well, then I had this trouble with gtk-menu. I cannot install task-complete, task-this, task-that, pik-pak and non of the other things because of gtk-menu. It says unable to find the file. But the file is there, it just does not work properly.
What shold I do? Do you know somwbody who could fix it here in Sao Paulo? How does that support works for damaged Ipaqs? Maybe I can send it to you through mail...
