half and half. i have compiled gnokii for the agenda pda. i have tested
this with a homegrown cable to a siemens phone and the identify command
from gnokii. result: works. i need to check my crosscompiler because
some of the problems below and my unability to compile a X windows
program for the agenda (the agenda runs X windows!) point to some errors
in my installation. the problems where:
- the agenda lacks a uint8 etc.
- the makefiles need some compiler options for linking.
- i'm unable to produce libgnokii, the gnokii binary is statically linked.
- my patch will break anything else but agenda support.
i can provide a partial patch if someone is interested (partial because
i can't reproduce the gnokii version i used, i took the nearest match).
i can't help with crosscompiler setup.
bye manfred
