I've been using GPRS with a Nokia 6310 phone via irda and bluetooth and it
has worked splendidly. I put some binaries for bluetooth and GPRS together at
my page at http://www.samengstrom.com/ipaq/ that could be helpful even if you
don't plan to use bluetooth.
