[iPAQ] Restoring WinCE failure

Hi,
 
I fear I have turned my iPAQ into a brick.
 
I was restoring WinCE back on to the rom, after a successful
installation of the Familiar distribution of Linux. I was using the back
ups that I had taken. I copied the four flash images across which
verified and appeared to copy fine. However when I gave the command
'reset' to reboot the machine into what I hoped would be WinCE nothing
happened. The machine went blank after I executed the command and now it
won't give me any signs of life at all.
 
Please could you tell me what I need to do to next, or where I should
send it to get it the lovely little machine working again.
 
I live in Oxford in the UK.
