With bootldr 2.18.01, can download gzipped image:
http://www.handhelds.org/projects/wincerestoration.html
cat flash_00[048c]00000.bin > flash.bin
Now skip over the parrot firmware. You can restore parrot firmware if
you want AFTER you have verified that wince restoration was correct:
dd if=flash.bin of=wince.bin bs=1k skip=256
wince.bin should be 16515072 bytes.
gzip wince.bin
wince.bin.gz should be a little over 9MB.
Now, use the 'load root' command in bootldr-2.18.01 and xmodem transfer
wince.bin.gz to the iPAQ. After it is transferred, the bootldr will
unzip and verify the CRC of the image and then program flash.
Now 'boot wince' should successfully boot wince.
