Maybe. There are 802.11 cards to which an external antenna can easily be
connected, so at least one antenna could be moved away.
Antenna-origin transmitter interference would only happen when one of the two
cards is transmitting, which will seldom happen unless you're bridging
streaming video. ("Seldom" in computer speed -- many milliseconds )
I'm more concerned about direct RF interference from leakage between the two
adjacent cards. But remember the RF engineers designed these cards knowing
that there might be any kind of delicate electronics in an adjacent card, so
the double layers of RF shielding may be sufficient.
Now I'll quit talking theory and wait to hear from someone who has actually
tried it... Well, actually, someone did mention earlier that they had operated
two 802.11 cards in a dual sleeve iPaq.
