thank you for the advice, but i guess it is a bit late now. unfortunately,
as i said, bootblaster kept crashing wince, that is why i reverted
to using osloader.

i wonder if it is time to inquire about the details of sending the ipaq
off to get re-flashed...

ps. it might be good to take the osloader link off the install page,
if you are sure this is happening because of using osloader.
