[iPAQ] linux on an 3130 iPAQ

Hello

I'm tried to install linux distribution on my iPAQ 3130. After
bootloader installing (as described in
ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/pub/linux/compaq/ipaq/stable/install.html)
can't get 'boot>' prompt at console connected to serial line. My
handheld is connected to PC serial port by cradle. unfortunately i
don't have other serial or USB cable. Bootloader seems installed
properly, but i'm confused: on minicom console i get
'CLIENTCLIENTCLIENT' string after rebooting ipaq. Additionally baud
rate should be 57600 than 115200 (as descr. in
http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/releases/latest/install/H3600/install.html
), with hardware flow control (57600 8N1).. , else on terminal console
i see "bushes (ascii_art ;o] )" :o/ I tried many different serial
setting (with/without flow control, different bit ratings).. How to
check, what's i doing wrong ? I have no idea, can you get an hint ?
