As I see in the docs it can be done from a M$ Windows
machine. And is masquarading really needed? It is
needed to have "internet" access to desktop PC, isn't
it? I've seen that packages could be copied to a
CompactFlash card using any windows program , and then
isntalled from iPaq with CF reader.. could I?

Ok, I've jus used terminal programs with m$ windows to
sent files to my hp calculators..

That's what I am doing right now, but I am very
confused.. Some said that I need Osloader and other
that I must uses bootldr.. Some said I need to
configure PPP and others that install can be done from
CF..

Ok, that's why I am trying to buy a second hand iPaq
3130. I'd like to use to see math capabilities of some
programs that could replace my hp calculators.. Just
advanced math in a handhled..
