To rmk[1]. Contrary to popular belief, Russell does NOT hunt down all
open CVS trees in the world to see if there are any nice arm-linux
patches burried down deep in them.

This is NOT ipaq specific _at_ _all_. This cpufreq stuff is about a low
level ARM kernel feature, and there are *far* more knowledgeable
arm-linux kernel people on the arm-linux-kernel list than over here.
You might for instance have noticed that Russell King is not subscribed
to any of the handhelds.org lists. (You're actually quite lucky that I
spotted your question at all, I usually read the handhelds.org lists
once a week in "kill thread" mode).
The LART also has a mailing list, but we have a lot less kernel related
questions because we made it very clear those questions are most
effectively answered at the correct list: the linux-arm-kernel mailing
list.
