A simple solution would be to make the cursor invisible. It's trivial
to set the cursor graphic using X resources, and if we can't see it
(and we're not using some focus-follows-mouse scheme), it doesn't
matter where it is or whether X has a notion of it.
It's annoying to have a cursor in the way when I'm not using it, but
it's helpful to have some visual feedback when trying to click on a
tiny widget. I'd miss that.
