Not to mention it has potential for touch-screen keypad etc. support for
extra authenticiation information, without having to trust such codes (Let
alone the main key) to untrusted systems. Good to hear somebody is working
on this, I had the thought to pursue this idea earlier, but it isn't
really part of my job description. It seems like Linux has pretty much
everything that's needed, though, all that's required it to write little
glue-code.
