My primary interest in the iPaq has always been as a remote terminal.
Commercial support for Linux together with wireless Internet service (I personally would like to see integration with 3G when it's available and practical) is a must. Hopefully that would allow the use of the iPaq as a phone was well.
While using a cell phone/iPaq combination is a good stopgap measure, I would one day like to be able to ditch my cell phone entirely and carry only an iPaq. I belive most of the people in my company would purchase one if it fit those requirements.
Email, instant messaging, ssh, telnet and vnc are all required functionality.
