Karen (Cindy?) -
Let me guess: someone let it sit in a drawer for months, and now it
won't hold a charge at all? I've got an Ipaq in similar straights - out
of warranty and a bad battery. As my screen is in pretty bad shape as
well, I'm considering sending it to www.pce2000.com, to do both battery
and screen work. They do sell a do it yourself battery replacement,
for $99. The battery, as you've discovered, is not a standard part.

Anyone else have a source for replacement batteries? pce200 is nice,
but I don't need a little torx driver or plastic case opening widget:
I've already cracked it open myself. ;-)

one last thing: if it _is_ a battery that's apparently dead from being
overdischarged, try a couple discharge/recharge cycles. It might bring
it back to a usable state, and doesn't cost anything, except time.
