Hello *
now that i just have got my Toshiba MK-5002MPL HDD i read in the manual:
"...is preformatted with a Microsoft-compatible file system..."
"Caution: Do not use win9x or DOS partitioning programs ("fdisk") as
they will not work with the PC Card hard drive"
what if i dont want a micros~1-compatible filesystem?
does linux fdisk destroy the drive?
or do they just want to tell me not to use lose9x/dos fdisk as this one
/is/ (dumb as brick and) dangerous with any disk?
thanx
