[iPAQ] screen saver problem?

Hi,

How can I turn of the backlighting of the lcd? Is there a way to do it with
a script or something? I would like to turn off the back lighting after 30
seconds of no button press. When a button on the ipaq is pressed or when it
wakes up from suspend mode, I would like to turn on the back lighting.

How can I control this? Can I do this from python? from C?
