[iPAQ] wrong magic number on intimateboot ipkg

I recently upgraded to fam 0.5 and am pretty happy but I wanted to try
out intimate on a 1g microdrive in a dual pcmcia sleeve. I am using
ethernet networking so its a fast installation. I am told that I need
to manually install the intimateboot ipkg which I do but the ipkg
configuration complains about a missing magic number and wants to write
the following to /boot/params (I guess):

noinitrc root=/dev/mtdblock3 (is this supposed to be /mtdblock/3)
init=/linuxrc.intimate
console=ttySA0
devfs=mount

I have the file /linuxrc.intimate but I cannot seem to get intimate
booting or have the params changed by the installer script.

I am going to reflash my familiar image this afternoon and would like to
try to get intimate working also on my dual pcmcia sleeve.

Thanks all.
