I have seen them NOT work. Working with the Brainboxes PCMCIA cards, I
am able to get the cards recognized, and L2CAP seems to work OK
(inquiry, l2ping, etc.), but RFCOMM is a no-go. It works with a pair of
laptops, so I believe it is an endian issue with the BlueZ stack
somewhere, but am still in the middle of debugging it. (I'm using 2.4.16
with BlueZ out of the CVS repo).
I would be happy to be proven wrong on this, though!
